We went to Wildlife Safari yesterday with my mom. We had a great time. We got to touch an elephant, I think that was my first time touching one, it felt really weird and hairy. But not soft hair, really really course hair, all over its body. We had a picnic, and then me and the girls took a camel ride! It was either that or an elephant ride, and I just wasn't up for sitting on the elephant after touching it. Fun day and fun memories! My battery went dead in my camera, so I only got one picture for the day, and of coarse it had neither the elephant or the camel in it!

We went camping!!! It actually started out as our yearly annual Young Adults Camping Retreat, and then my family (the Stratton's - minus Mindie and Steve) stayed for our camp out. It was a lot of fun. We camped at Loon Lake, which is about 1 1/2 hours from Roseburg. And it was beautiful and extremely HOT!!! So, here are a few pictures of my girls and the results of them camping! :) 
Mattie thought that the dirt was something she should bath in! I also had to catch her exposed butt cheek. It was cracking me up.
And here are the two of them! Sophie did get dirty, but Mattie beat her out by far!

This was our campsite. The only real complaint is that there isn't any running water at this site. And as you can see with Mattie, it sure would have been helpful! :)

She is 4 years old!!! And daddy turned 29 yesterday!!! Now that Sophie came along, the last 4 birthday's of his have been kind of uneventful, all of our energy and thoughts go into Sophie's birthday which is one day before his. Poor Matthew. But, he is happy as long as he gets presents, or money to spend! Happy Birthday to the two out of three of my favorite people in the whole world!

The 4th of July at Fort Vancouver. Matthew and I got spontaneous on Sunday night and decided to leave that night to go up to my sisters house and spend the 4th with her. We came to the Fort a few years ago and had fun, so we decided to try it again. Man are there a lot of people there. I don't know if we could do it every year, but every few years isn't that bad. Besides the couple lying next to us on their blanket, showing his tighty wighties (except they were grey) and having their volumptuous legs all over each other while wearing extremely short shorts, it wasn't that bad! It was beautiful weather and great company! My mom came down as well. We just missed the rest of my family. Hope you all had a great 4th!

This was just the initial fear of being on Matthew's shoulders. It didn't last long b/c she eventually didn't want to get down. Her hands were pulling his cheeks so tight, a few times it was in his eyeballs. Fun memories! Posted by Sabrina at 10:16 AM

I love my sister! She and I have grown so much closer since we have gotten married. Worlds away from when we used to hate each other b/c she wore my hair clip! Oh man, high school days were scary. Thank God for growing up!
