Auntie Corrina and Sophie. They are two peas in a pod! They are such posers! :) And they both LOVE to change their outfit 2 to 3 times a day! And...they are both simply gorgeous!

My husband!!! Who knew there was an inner geek hiding inside of him! Did you even know that there are water cooling systems for computers? (See picture). I didn't, but a bunch of guys had them at this gaming convention Matthew went to this weekend in Portland with a few of his friends from Roseburg! They played computer video games ALLLLL weekend long (minus a few hours he wisked me away on a date!). They would get up and be there by 10am and wouldn't get home until 2am! And did it four days in a row! Matthew felt a little bit out of place, but still had a lot of fun! By the way, Matthew does NOT have a water cooling system for his computer. He isn't THAT geeky! :)

This last weekend we were up in Portland. Matthew and I dropped the girls off with my mom and dad at Corrina and Justin's house. They have a new kitty, which the girls love to death! Sophie kept carrying around "Bella" like this, just about all day long. I just love the smile Mattie has in this picture!

Last week Sophie had her first "girlfriend" sleep over! She was so excited, as was Mattie! Whitney is their friend, she is a few years older than Sophie, and Sophie just loves her so much. She was so excited to have her sleeping over that she couldn't go to sleep until after 11pm!

Alias! This is my newest obsession. Throughout the years I have seen an episode hear and there, but never got the chance to really get "addicted" to it. I have always liked Jennifer Garner though. There is just something about her that makes you feel like you would totally get along with her. So, for Christmas I was asked what I wanted by my family, and one thing I said was the first season of Alias. Well I got it, and since the day after Christmas, Matthew and I have watched, and enjoyed, all 4 seasons on DVD. We finished the fourth season a few weeks ago and are having Alias withdrawals. So, no important reason to tell you all of this, I just thought you might enjoy hearing a bit more about my interests than just my children! :) The 5th and final season starts back up in March. If you are looking for a really great series to get hooked on, look no further!!!!

I think the funniest thing about watching Alias, is that it has made me think whether or not I would make a good spy. My conclusion....I would. Matthew doesn't agree! :)

So.....(sigh)....we had quite an incident happen yesterday. Last night, as Matthew was watching some show on TV and I was busy on my NEW LAPTOP!!!!!, there was a conspiracy going on in our home that we were completely oblivious to. I could hear the soft and muted chatter of our two precious angels playing so well together. It sounded as if they were playing in their closet (which they do often) and so we were enjoying the peace and quiet in our pleasant home. I at one point heard Sophie calling my name, but I couldn't understand what she was saying, so as a good mother, I just ignored it and kept on with my hobby. That is when it happened. All of a sudden it sounded as if someone had poured out 5 pitchers of water in some room. With confusion on both of our faces, Matthew and I turned to each other, both with a look saying, "You get up and check on it!" I won. Matthew got up and opened the door from which the rushing water sounded from. "Sabrina!!! You have GOT to come here and see this," Matthew said. I stood quickly, now more out of curiosity than obligation and walked towards Matthew, who I now discovered was in our guest bathroom. There standing quietly, backs up against the washer and dryer, feet soaked and hair wet, were my two precious little girls, looking so innocent and yet chaos was round about them. Out of my mouth came, "Girls, WHAT....DID....YOU...DO?" I could see it for myself, but I needed to hear it from them. Sophie quickly did what any good big sister would do and said, "Mattie did it." Which I partially believed being that she was the one with soaked hair, hands, shirt, socks, and the worst of it all, a clump of wet toilet paper hanging out of her mouth as she was sucking the excess water into her obviously parched mouth! "No Mattie, No! Get that out of your mouth. Dirty Mattie, that is DIRTY!", Matthew and I yelled. After recovering the toilet paper from her mouth, we began to deal with the disaster zone. We sent both girls to their respective "Naughty Chairs" and began dealing with the mess. We soon discovered that they had attempted to flush an entire, BRAND NEW, role of toilet paper down the toilet, along with gobs and gobs of more that was jammed down into the throat of the bowl. Matthew cleaned up the mess and the girls got a much needed bath after that. After the crisis was all over and both girls had been disciplined (no spankings for this one, just some time out in the Naughty Chairs), we asked Sophie how many times they flushed the toilet, and she said, "3 daddy!"

What a mixture of emotions a parent can have over something like this. No, it wasn't that big of deal, but you still feel a bit of frustration realizing that your child's messes eventually always become "Your" messes, and at the same time, you want to laugh, because they looked so guilty and sweet at the same time. Oh the joys of parenthood. I wouldn't trade it for anything!!!

This is one of my little culprits. It is hard to tell in this picture, but her hair is all wet and so is her shirt. She is GUILTY AS CHARGED!!!!

So tonight we went to Applebees (surprise surprise) as a family for dinner. It has been awhile it seems since it was just our family that did something like this together. Surprisingly, the girls really behaved themselves. That is largely impart to allowing them to play underneath the table. These pictures are of Sophie and Mattie posing and playing under the Roseburg Applebees table! Go Roseburg!

Let us all take a moment of silence for our great loss today in Detroit. I think this is the first Super Bowl game I actually watched from start to finish and was into it. I know if I am feeling disappointment on this sad super bowl day, I know many of you must who are much greater fans than I are nearing a great depression just about now. Well, it was fun while it lasted! We always have next year!

My Mattie! Not only is she a spit fire, she is also a bit of a dare devil. We got to capture this little moment on camera as she balanced on top of her sit-n-spin. Every day she makes us smile and laugh. I am soooo looking forward to seeing what and how God is going to use this brave little one!

Happy Birthday to my brother, Steve!!! He turned 23 yesterday. (Unlike my sister Corrina's birthday, I did manage to remember AND call him!). So, here is to you my brother. I wish I could put into words just how very proud of you that I am. You have such a tender heart, a fabulous personality, and so full of so many wonderful gifts and talents. I have enjoyed every day of your existance! I love you.
