Well, I think this is the last time I will get to blog for about 1 week! We have disconnected our computer (I am on Matthew's laptop) and we will begin our move on Friday. Yeah!!! We won't have internet until Wednesday, so if you don't hear from me, don't think I am ignoring you....know that my heart is with you, in blog land, reading...posting...commenting...reading some more...you get the picture! Anyways, love you all.

Have you seen the new bloggers that have come on board! Steve (my brother), John and Holly, Dane (not much there yet - but the comments are funny). Our online family is growing :)

So, until then...

So I just did an audio blog, and I think that I had a rapper spirit come over me because I said "shout out".... which I NEVER say. Matthew is a bit embarrassed by it all :)

So anyways, peace....out.

Can anyone make the time stop? Please??? I remember hearing a message preached by Harold Ebberly in Spokane and he talked about how "time was your friend!" Well, time has not been on my side lately, or maybe I haven't been on time's side. That is probably more like it. Too much to do with not enough hours in the day. I don't think I would be so overwhelmed had I not got the flu a few days ago. Ohhh, it was horrible. I was up from 2 am in the morning in the bathroon puking and other unmentionables and was on the couch ALL day on Tuesday. I hardly lifted my head. That may not seem like a big deal, but I only work 2 days a week, and Tuesday is one of those days, so you can only imagine how today was at work!!! Trying to fit 2 days of work into 1 is sometimes simply impossible as it turned out to be true today! But hooray, hurrah, I get to go camping tomorrow with all of our fabulous young adults for 3 days and 2 nights! Swimming...knee boarding...laying out in the sun...with people I love...I am so excited! Leah will be there, so you will get LOTS of pictures on her blog for sure :) (Love you Leah)

So, the countdown to moving is one week, and packing has begun. We are living in a huge organized mess, and we only have 2 rooms packed up so far. "Calgon, take me away!" I will be glad when I am on the plane going to the Philippines with nothing to do except rest, for 14 hours! I don't remember the last time I got to do that! Missions trips certainly have their benefits.

So, although I am not commenting on much of your blogs, be certain that I am reading them, and truly enjoying every last one of them! By the way.....I hear congratulations are in order for Douglas!!!

Hey everyone! We are back from youth camp up in Washougal, Washington. We returned last night, utterly exhausted! I am beginning to feel my age! I can't keep up with these teenagers like I used to be able to! But what a great camp we had. There were about 130 kids from all over the Northwest CEA churches. I was going up planning on being in a room with my husband for a week and serving wherever we were needed, but at the last minute (literally) was asked to be a counselor. I gladly accepted. So anyways, we are back home, getting ready for Sophie's birthday party today and then getting packed up so that we can move to our new home!

By the way, Sophie turned 3 on Wednesday! We were at camp, so we are celebrating it today. She got the chicken pox on her birthday, poor girl! It is a very mild breakout though.

I have to develop a role of film, so pictures are coming soon!

I just wanted to remember this funny moment yesterday as we were driving to Portland. Sophie was asking where all the cars were going, and I told her that they were probably going home to see their little girls. I asked Sophie where she thought they were all going, and she said, "I think they are all going to Gen Church!" For those of you who don't know, that is what Matthew and I do every Thursday, our "youth and young adults group" is called Generation Church. I just thought that was so cute and lovely.

I am currently in Maple Valley at my parents house. I had to take the girls up to my parents while Matthew and I are at Teen Camp! We arrived today after a long days travel yesterday. There is nothing like rush hour traffic with two girls in car seats ready for a much needed break from driving! It just reassures me that I am so glad I am in Roseburg, where "rush hour" is like 20 cars at a light, so you have to wait the next round. I LOVE small towns.

Anyways, I got to meet little Matthew James Mabry today! He is soooo adorable and so small. It is amazing how quickly one can forget how small your little babies once were. Tammie is looking good and seems to be recovering well, but those pain killers can be deceiving!!! They make you feel better than your actual body is.

So, I will be out for a week, unable to blog :( I will miss all the "action" in the blog world. But for some of you (I won't mention any names Melody ) there hasn't been much action anyways! he he :)

Have a great week and I will blog later. P.S. Sophie is turning 3 on July 13 and Matthew is turning 28 on the 14th!

Not me!!!! Geeeesh! No...Tammie has had her baby! Little Matthew James has arrived at exactly 10am Tuesday, July 5, 2005. He is almost 8 lbs and 19 inches long. I just got off the phone with Tammie, she sounds great. She said that baby Matthew looks just like Jim. Pale skin, blond eyebrows, and not much hair, unlike when Lexi was born :)

There was just a few complications during the birth, he swallowed some amniotic (sp?) fluid and so they are keeping him in the intensive care for a few days to get him stabalized. But Tammie is at peace with everything and it is all going to be alright. She had a c-section (planned) and was so nervous like I was and pretty much anyone about to be cut open, but she did great.

So, keep baby in your prayers and Jim and Tammie as well as they are welcoming this new bundle of blonde joy. We all know it is gonna turn red! It is just too cute, Lexi is Tammie's "mini me" and now Jim will have a "mini me" too! I can't wait to meet him.

I'll keep you posted for me and Tammie as I hear things.

Hey Everyone!!!

Well....we went just got back from our first camping trip with the girls. It was an experience, a really fun one. Sophie and Mattie had the greatest time, and besides bed time, they did great outdoors. I took some pictures and will be developing them soon, so I will be sure to post them when they come! Mattie got so dirty. She looked like someone had stepped on her hed with muddy boots. She kept picking up dirt and rubbing it in her hair because she sees me put mousse in my hair and I was putting sunblock all over her head. It was rather cute, and I was like...."hey, we're camping, get dirty!"

Update on the home. We accepted the offer and it is in escrow right now! We have an appointment with our loan officer on Wednesday, so we will know more about when we can expect to move then...hopefully! I am very excited and also very overwhelmed. This month we have a week at Senior High Camp at Salmon Falls in Washougal, then a week later we are taking our young adults and newlyweds camping for a weekend, then when we get back from there we are hoping to move in, then on August 7 we leave for the Philippines for 16 days. So, I am wondering how my stress level will be after the months of July and August. I just have to remind myself that God brought this incredible blessing of a house at this time and so He must be bringing me an extra supply of grace as well!

Well, I hope you are all having a great fourth of July! Tammie has her baby tomorrow morning so keep her in your prayers. And I want to say hi to Kristen!!! I wish I could see you. Have a wonderful time in Washington!

Love you all and I love all who read my blog that do not yet have one. And that is because.....???? :)
